The Ultimate Business Assistant for your business | Notion Template

I’ve been a Project Manager in the online space now for over 5 years, and I will admit… I don’t think tools and systems are a one-size-fits-all. I build PM systems for different businesses, and everyone’s needs are different. With that in mind, I am not one to push a product, online tool, or way of doing something unless it’s exactly what I think you need for your business.

Today, I particularly want to speak to the overwhelmed Entrepreneur who doesn’t currently love the tools & systems in place, and wants to show up better in both personal life and business. I was in desperate need for a simple, yet intuitive project management tool to blend different aspects of life and business into one, which led me to create The Business Assistant | Notion Template. The deep desire for simplicity, peace of mind, and productivity have been met with this particular design, and I couldn’t keep this key to less overwhelm for myself. Keep reading to learn why this template could very well be the answer you’ve been looking for in your business.

ONE CENTRAL DASHBOARD

The Business Assistant | Notion Template truly functions the way any Business Assistant (I’ve been one 🙋‍♀️) should, and collects all data in one place for you to know what to focus on and prioritize. A lot of overwhelm comes from having a hefty to-do list with no idea of priority levels, no set due dates, and inconsistency. When you commit to identifying a task’s priority and when it needs to be done, you have taken 85% of the pressure off yourself, because now it belongs somewhere for a specific time vs. ignored and potentially forgotten. The Hub filters by due dates, which again, relieves you from trying to create a mental checklist of tasks you may be forgetting.

Additional features you will find in the The Hub:

  • A Quick Links Section - For anything you want quick access to.

  • Sticky Notes - Designed to act as a sticky note, but in database form. In the same way we make random to-do’s with a sticky note and leave it sticking somewhere until we do something with it, this feature is a thought dump and stays there until categorized or assigned.

  • First & Foremost Section - A lot of times we neglect our wellness when in the trenches of our business, so having a daily habits checklist helps keep your health top of mind.

  • Daily Water Checklist - It’s easy to forget to drink enough water, so this daily checklist helps you out there! (as I go refill my water 😉).

  • Weekly Prep Checklist - A list of things to prepare for each week

  • Today’s Personal To-Do - List of your personal to-do’s for the day (or can be set for the week/month)

  • Today’s Business To-Do - List of your business tasks for the day (or can be set for the week/month)

  • Payments Due This Week - A snapshot of your expenses coming up for the week

  • Current Reading List - A reading log of books you are current reading

  • OKR’s - A view of your OKR’s for the year (can be filtered by the month or quarter)

  • This Month’s Current Client Pipeline - Pulls follow-up dates for potential clients.

  • Calendar View - As a visual person, this is how I work best. Seeing everything in calendar view.

Simple Project Management

It’s okay to not need all the automations in the world to function optimally. I’ve worked with clients who try to fix deep business issues with automation triggers, and it doesn’t work out the way they had hoped because they are trying to put a band aid on areas that require true coordination or training. From my experience, project planning with accuracy is what will yield your best results. The business project and business tasks databases are designed to help guide and organize you, keeping the process simple.

WHITEBOARD PLANNING FOR BUSINESS GOALS

Nothing is more important than knowing what you want to achieve in your business and how to get there. The BA | Notion Template comes with whiteboard planning, as well as OKR + KPI databases for tracking. When deciding on what you want to achieve in your business, the whiteboard planning template asks you important questions to ensure quality goal creation:

  1. What are you trying to achieve?

  2. How do you get there?

  3. What could go wrong or cause roadblocks?

  4. What needs to be researched?

Say Yes to peace in your life

I don’t know about you, but I am always wanting more peace in my life, and less chaos. Of all the systems I have used the last 10 years, The Business Assistant | Notion Template has been by far my favorite and continues to keep me organized and held accountable. As someone who has helped many Entrepreneurs become more hands-off in their business, trust me when I say this design can help you take steps to accomplish the same. After all, it’s the ultimate “BA” for the overwhelmed Entrepreneur ;)
